*PANIC!*

When it comes to making important decisions, I find that I perform my best if I get to the point of panic. Your thoughts are clearer, and you will find that the decisions made will resolve the problem and not just be a band-aid. Oh, wait. That’s completely opposite.

What we want to do is avoid the panic state at all costs because the resolution that you come to will, in most cases, not be the last time you deal with the issue. If you are having a difficult time with your golf swing, a complete swing overhaul is probably not the solution, especially for most of us casual golfers.
What we need to do is pinpoint the problem and create a plan to correct the problem. This may be a practice plan that works toward more solid contact, remember ball flight is all that matters. From there, you can add a second step which will start to work on your ability to control direction and from there trajectory.

If an effective plan has been put in place, you can trust that the work you do will create the results you are seeking. “Trust the process” has been used so frequently lately that I don’t know what it means, but in this case, it’s right on point.
